1 - Dunedin B&B House Rules
Welcome to Dunedin B&B, nestled in the picturesque Isle of Skye, where we, Rob and Yvonne, have crafted a tranquil haven. As a retired couple, our joy lies in creating a homely and inviting atmosphere, enriched by Yvonne's passion for crafting delightful homemade meals and Rob's extensive knowledge of Skye, fueled by his love for rock climbing and the sea. Our years on Scalpay and in the Cuillins have deepened our connection to this land. We take great pleasure in welcoming guests from varied cultures and experiences, eager to share our little piece of paradise.
In keeping with our commitment to providing a tranquil and enjoyable experience for all our guests, we kindly request adherence to the following house rules:
Laundry Needs: To maintain the comfort and ambiance of our rooms, we refrain from washing or drying clothes in the rooms. For your laundry needs, we can guide you to a nearby laundrette.
Quiet Hours: In respect of everyone's peace, please keep noise to a minimum, especially after 10:30 PM. Your cooperation helps ensure a restful atmosphere for all our guests.
Care for the Property: We cherish our B&B's heritage and ask that you do too. Any accidental damage, including carpet burns from items like hair straighteners, curling tongs, and more, needs to be reported and will incur a fee for rectification.
Alcohol Consumption: Our B&B is a place of relaxation and rejuvenation. Overindulgence in alcohol is not allowed and may lead to necessary action to ensure a safe environment.
Dining Policy: To preserve the unique character and cleanliness of our rooms, cooking or consuming hot food in the bedrooms is not permitted.
Electrical Safety: Please ensure all electrical items comply with UK safety standards and avoid overloading plugs. Hair straighteners and similar items should not be left on surfaces unattended.
Children’s Policy: Our B&B is designed to offer a peaceful retreat and is not equipped for children under 12 years. We appreciate your understanding.
Pet Policy: Unfortunately, our B&B cannot accommodate pets, ensuring a comfortable stay for all our guests.
B&B Etiquette: As a traditional B&B, we expect guests to embrace our unique Scottish experience, respecting our policies and other guests.
Please note that failure to adhere to these house rules may lead to action, up to and including termination of stay without refund.
